2s are tenth
3s are third
4s are fifth.
Last week
Last week’s results 3 wins out of five.
First team travelled to Ewhurst Green to play Old Emmanuel on a very village cricket ground. Addiscombe again providing all the admin side of things, with Tracy Roberts and I scoring while Barry Lineker kept the manual scoreboard ticking over. Thanks Baz.
We won by 1 wicket in a nervy ending to the game. Estmat taking 3 for 5 off 5 overs and scoring 56. Shakeel scored 59, with 2 catches and a run out.
The Twos lost by 5 wickets to Stoke D’Abernon, Sam Dennis 28, and Mohsin Saleem 37.
The Threes beat Mitcham by 7 wickets. Naweed Shinwari 3 for 34, Peter Murphy 3 for 32, Hafiz Adam 63* and Mohammed Jaffer 55.
The Fours won by 22 runs against Old Ruts, Krishna Bhogadi 27 and 3 for 14, Sam Meakin 3 for 19.
The Fives lost in their friendly against Croydon CC.
On Wednesday the U15s lost in their home match against Reigate Priory, but it still leaves them top of their league. Well done.
This week
Fixtures for this week; first team at home to Churt, second team away to Merstham. Both games starting at 12 noon.
The third team are at 1743 hosting Worcester Park and the fours are away to Beddington. Both games 1 p.m. starts.
The Fives are travelling away to Roehampton, 1.30 pm.
There are no Sunday fixtures this week. Just as well considering the dryness of the ground.
Good luck to all teams playing today especially to the twos who could do with an uplifting win.
