Second week of fixtures, lets build on the first week!

Good Morning Everybody,

Hope you have all had a good week and looking forward to some cricket this weekend.

Some good results amongst all our teams this last week:

Beginning with our senior teams; Our ones beat Farnham by 6 wickets. S.Hassan 27 n.o. ,James Moore 43 and 2 catches, Ollie Armstrong 10-2-14-4. The twos won by 4 wickets against Maori Oxshott, Baz Lineker 10-9-2-3, Prayga Shukula 40, Avanesh Vallassery 29, Mo Anasta 22 n.o.The threes lost to Banstead by 47 runs, Ayoub Khan 31. Fours lost by 4 wickets to Old Wimbledonians, R. Chima 25, K. Bhogadi 31, A.Stevens 40 S.Mamozai 8-5-19-4. Our newest league team 5th XI started well beating Cheam by 5 wickets.Chris Martinez 6-5-10-3.

In our mid week Surrey Slam match, Addiscombe Mitres lost to Epic by 1 run.

In our Junior sides, the U9s Softball beat Purley, the U11s had to concede. U14s lost by 17 runs to AJ Cricket Academy, U12s beat Tadworth by 8 wickets
and U15s beat Spencer by 1 wicket.

This weekends Fixtures
Turning to tomorrow’s fixtures and mid week, First team are away to Old Ruts, Twos at home to Chobham Avorians, the Threes face Old Whits away and the Fours face Purley at 1743. Chipstead could not raise a team and have withdrawn from the league, leaving the Fives without a league game.

Saturday morning U9s Softball play Alleyns 9 am Sandilands.Sunday, U15s are at Sandilands v Streatham and Marlborough. U12s v Sutton at 1743.

During the week U11s v Kenley at 1743 6 pm Tuesday and Wednesday U 14s v Beddington at 1743. On Wednesday 22nd we are hosting a girls competition for Croydon Schools Sports Partnership 1 to 4 p.m.

Other News from the Club; a successful BBQ was held last Saturday to welcome the start of the new season and our overseas player James Moore.

Other dates for your diary; 11th August President’s Day. (More details to follow later), 7th September End of Season Awards. 12th November AGM.
